Welcome to the new University of Waterloo Planning Alumni of Toronto (UWPAT) website.

UWPAT was established in 1989.  Since then, the group’s main focus has been to raise funds for the
University of Waterloo School of Planning, while promoting the planning profession in the GTA.

The Committee’s primary fundraising event is the Annual Dinner, now attended by approximately
1,000 people. The dinner has become a “must attend” event for all planning, legal, land development and related professionals in Ontario. The event raises funds to support the Planner-in-Residence Program and Entrance Scholarships, among other things, for the University of Waterloo School of Planning.

For over 20 years, UWPAT has brought together alumni, professionals and members of the University of Waterloo to celebrate the School’s accomplishments and help raise money to benefit current and future students.  As the reputation of the School and its graduates continues to gain strength, UWPAT would like to encourage all alumni to get involved and take part in one of our events or to donate to the School.
